The Primary Arms Gen III 3X Compact Prism Scope with the improved ACSS-300BLK/7.62X39 reticle is a lightweight, versatile scope. The low 3X magnification and bright illuminated reticle allow for fast, both-eyes-open shooting at close range, while the ACSS reticle enables easy hits on targets out to an impressive 600 yards with supersonic ammunition and 225 yards with subsonic.
At the heart of this tough Gen III 3X Prism Scope is the improved ACSS-300BLK/7.62x39 reticle. This reticle combines ranging, wind leads, moving target leads, and ballistic drop compensation out to 600 yards. The outer horseshoe of the glass etched reticle is designed for closer ranges, where you can simply place the generous semi-circle on the target and engage.
The integrated ranging system on each side of the horseshoe allows for easy distance estimation. If you know your targets are roughly 18 inches wide, you can range them on the side Auto Range system or directly on the BDC hold overs.
Two dots on either side of the precision chevron offer a moving target lead for targets moving at an average speed of 6.1 MPH. Additionally, each step of the BDC system includes a 5 MPH wind hold, significantly improving first-hit probability at any range.
The SLx 3X Gen III scope features an even more rugged and flexible mounting system than previous iterations. Integrated recoil lugs help lock the mount in place against heavy recoil, while large diameter crossbolts provide improved clamping power to withstand substantial torque.
This scope is part of the SLx optics line, which has built a reputation for innovation, reliability, and value. All SLx optics undergo rigorous field-testing during development to ensure they can perform in any environment.
